Aging and staying healthy

How come as our bodies age and change our eating habits stay the same?  When we hit that milestone of fifty years old, the care and feeding of our bodies need to be completely different than when we were younger.  Say good bye to those calorie filled nights and non gym days.  An older body requires less calories per day, because our energy is beginning to decrease.
What do you need to do to maintain your health after each birthday?
1. 1.    Exercise!  If you want to stay healthy, prevent premature death, increase your well- being and decrease fat, then exercise at least three times per week.
2. 2.   Eat Healthy.  Cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, heart attacks and strokes can all be reduced with a healthy diet.  You are what you eat, therefor eating less processed foods and saturated fats will help kick start a healthy diet.
3.    3.  Take your vitamins. Taking vitamins and antioxidants have been found to benefit the slowing of the aging process.
